History of the Gallery

The Lopping Hall Gallery was opened at 187b High Road, adjacent to the Hall itself, in 2011 with funding from the Lopping Hall Endowment.

The intention of the Trustees was to increase the profile of the visual arts in Loughton by providing a permanent exhibition space and also for the Centre to be an information centre for the arts within the area. It continues to be supported by the Endowment.
